Kacho-e or nature pictures concentrated on birds and flowers, frogs, fish and insects. Their subject was nature in close-up with great attention to detail of their subject. This group of prints contrasts with landscapes of nature on a much larger scale. The prints here include modern originals by Nishiburo and some reproductions of classical Hiroshige kacho-e.
